Himalayan region climate varies as per the
altitude wise from the low southern land of
Gangetic plains of Terai at 60meters above sea
level to the mid hills-valleys at 9,00m,
1500-200m and to the high mountain settlement at
3000-4000m and above. From over 40oC warm
sub-tropic, 25oC meditareain to the artic
climate of -0oC to -20oC conditions exists.

Nepal and its Himalayan range have a typical
monsoonal two season a year. There's the dry
season from October to May and the wet season,
the monsoon, from June to September.
September-November, the start of the dry season,
is in many ways the best time in Nepal and
around the Himalaya.
As the Himalayan regions have low
precipitations, the snow fall is limited
depending upon the region, season and elevation.
The main trekking area of Annapurna Region will
be as follows.
From 800m-1200m quite subtropical climate with
hot and humidity in summer and at end of spring
till starting of autumn, however in winter the
temperature drops down almost 0 degree Celsius
with mild sunshine of 15-18 degree Celsius.
From 2000m in summer it will be quite warm with
minimum of 5-8 degree Celsius Maximum of 18-20
degree Celsius.
Spring from mid Feb to April the temperatures
are as follows.
Minimum -4 to -5 degree Celsius with Maximum of
12-18 degree Celsius.
With chances of snow at some areas with high
wind chill factor.
Autumn from October to mid November.
Minimum -5 to -8 degree Celsius with Maximum of
12-18 degree Celsius.
With chances of snow at some areas with high
wind chill factor.
From 3000m-4000m. minimum of 0-5 degree Celsius
and maximum of 15-18 degree Celsius. Above 5000m
it can snow even summer, while it rains below
but the snow melts quickly as it reaches the
ground at this time of the year in summer and
monsoon. (The wind chill factor above
3000m-4000m can be quite freezing bringing the
temperatures down.
In the Everest Region and as at other High
Himalayan region the temperatures are as follows
from 2000m onwards.
From 2000m in summer it will be quite warm with
minimum of 5-8 degree Celsius
Maximum of 18-20 degree Celsius.
Spring from mid Feb to April the temperatures
are as follows.
Minimum -4 to -5 degree Celsius with Maximum of
12-18 degree Celsius.
With chances of snow at some areas with high
wind chill factor.
Autumn from October to mid November.
Minimum -5 to -8 degree Celsius with Maximum of
12-18 degree Celsius.
With chances of snow at some areas with high
wind chill factor.
In winter Dec to mid Feb this place can be very
cold at sometimes in places like
Loboche onwards with minimum of -15-20 degree
Celsius and maximum of 12-15 degree Celsisus.
Above 3000m onwards the afternoon sun will be
brilliant and glary with strong UV (Ultra Violet
Ray) while in the sun, however the temperatures
drops down dramatically while in the shade.
