Nepal has numerous fine rivers for rafting,
kayaking or canoeing. The most prominent white
water rafting regions are the eastern, the mid
and the Western rivers, of all these regions the
mid river Trisuli and the Sunkoshi are the main
popular rafting rivers, these rivers can be
soothing, relaxing or it can offer hair-raising
roller coaster rides.
Every river, flows from the abode of Gods: The
Himalaya, all the way to the Ganges in India.
The float down stream is exhilarating and the
scenery of the valley, gorges between Himalaya
and Mid-Himalayan range is equally captivating.
The other thrills in the rafting, is camping on
the clear sandy beaches with time to explore and
visit the rural villages. So, what ever duration

Introduction:
Flowing from the Mustang Himal through the
deepest ravine in the world between the
Annapurna and the Dhaulagiri. Kali-Gandaki
offers mighty waves and sandy beaches and rapids
like Leopards Jump and Devils shake, with many
more exciting white water thrills as you float
down stream.
The Rafting trip starts with a drive to Seti
Dovan from Pokhara the pace of the trip is
supplemented with abrupt drops with spectacular
villages terraces with surrel Himalayan back
drop.
Outline Itinerary :
Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel.
O/N Hotel.
Day 02: In Kathmandu free day at leisure (Guided
tour on request) O/N Hotel.
Day 03: Drive to Pokhara 5-6 hours on Deluxe
coach (or 1/2hr flight) O/N Hotel.
In the evening join the group for brief and
orientation program.
Day 04: Drive to the put in point of rafting and
raft for 3 hours and camp by the river. O/N
Camp.
Day 05: to Day07:Rafting.

Introduction:
A week to nine days of frills & thrills in the
"river of gold" considered as top 10 rafting
rivers in the world. We drive out through the
beautiful mountain Resort Area of Dhulikhel
toward Dolalghat, a small town on the road to
Tibet. The rapids are quite gentle on the first
few days, as our journey, skill and enthusiasm
progresses and ready to conquer the mighty, wild
roller coaster rapids, all the way till we
come to an end of our exciting float on the
fertile Ganges plains of southern Nepal. A few
hours drive to Biratnagar for the flight back to
Kathmandu.

The mightiest river in the remote west of Nepal.
On this trip we trek for few days with dozen of
porters to carry our equipment
to one of the most isolated and seldom explored
areas. Then descending through a series of
magnificent gorges, tropical jungle,
deserted beaches and rural farm villages with
full of thrills in this exceptional big volume
of white water rapids on the big bend of Karnali.(12
Days trip). Karnali River situated in the far
western Nepal, best time October and November.

TRISULI The
Three Sisters-a Trident
Rapid Grade: 01 to 04 (in high flow season)
Rafting Duration: 1 to 4 Days. 1 day approx: 20
to 22 km
Put In Point: Chauradhi (aprrox 2hrs drive from
Ktm)
Take-Out: Kuringhat or further Kuringtar on a
day or 2 days.
(depending upon time of the season and its water
volume)
Introduction:
The Trisuli is Nepal's most popular rafting
river for many reasons: Big, bouncy waves, hefty
holes and tricky chutes all make for an
exhilarating ride. Our rafting adventure floats
through numerous rapids from Grade I, II to IV
depending upon its water level at the time of
the season. 1 day to 2 days or more, this river
flows from Mt.Ganesh and Langtang all the way to
Chitwan National Park and finally ends at Ganges
in the Gangetic plains of India. Trisuli is
quite popular river for rafting, as the river
flows by the side of the main highway, and it
has all the thrills, excitement plus a scenic
view of the landscape, flora and fauna. Trisuli
has friendly rapids and is an ideal trip for the
beginners, family and birdwatchers.
Rafting in this river, is an ultimate way of
reaching the jungle with a surge of adrenaline
and a scenic float.
Detail Program
on Rafting River Trisuli:
Morning pickup at 6.45 am, after an early
breakfast from the Hotel our transport with the
guide will accompany you all the way to
Chauradhi on the main busy highway, the scenic
drive will take not less than two hours. On
arriving Chauradhi, a small village in the
middle of the highway, our river guides and
Captain of the raft will receive you, a short
walk to the beach where you can see our boys
preparing and inflating the raft for the
exciting journey on the Trisuli river. You will
be thoroughly briefed by our Captain about the
Rafting, safety procedure and the river. Lunch
is prepared here by the bank of the Trisuli
river,(if its too early sometime we prepare
lunch farther downstream) lunch will be prepared
and served on the large plastic tarpaulin.
After lunch, your valuable, money purse, camera
and sunscreen is put in the safe water-proof and
tight barrel, what you need for the Rafting for
the day is all put in this barrel. As the going
gets ready, our Captain will divide the group in
the boat in seating order to balance the raft.
Once in the Raft you'll have helmets,
life-jacket and paddle each. As the seating
order is settled the Captain seats will be on
the back with its oar or steering paddle.
Once in the river, you will have a brief
instruction on paddling, the float down stream
takes you through many interesting and exciting
rapids, like twin-rock, ladies delight, monsoon
and the most heart pounding rapids of all are
"Upset" (an infamous class IV rapid with a huge
curly waves) after Upset it passes through
"Surprise" and before the end of the trip Bijili
rapid will give you a big wash, then back to the
bank of the river at Kuringhat, where our
transport will be waiting with your nice warm
dry clothes, after a change into warm gear a 2
1/2 to 3 hours drive will bring you back to the
Hotel in Kathmandu after an exciting, thrilling
whitewater rafting.
Rafting & Jungle Itinerary:
01: 2-3 hours drive from Kathmandu or Pokhara to
the Rafting put in point at Trisuli River meet
our Rafting crew after a brief on safety
procedure and Rafting Instruction float down for
approx. 22 km down towards the overnight Camp at
Kuringhat or near about.
02: Morning at leisure after late breakfast by
7.30 or 8 am ready to leave the camp by 9-10 am,
float down for 2-3 hours. Picnic style Lunch at
the beach prepared by our Rafting crew. During &
after lunch few hours at leisure, if you want to
go for a dip or a splash in the river, please
ask the Captain if it's safe to do it. After
lunch, scenic float for another 2-3 hours to the
overnight camp, your last camping and rafting.
03:After breakfast by 8-9 a.m. be ready to leave
the camp a short walk to the road head for 1-2
hours drive towards Royal Chitwan National Park.
On arriving at the end of the road head, another
vehicle four wheel drive will take you inside
the Park and into the Chitwan Jungle Lodge, on
arrival the camp manager will give you the
necessary information about the Park and its
Lodge and as well do's and don't.
Out in the Jungle its better to wear dull or
dark clothes, avoid bright color clothing like
red-yellow-orange-white and perfumes.
Hat-walking shoes or boots-trouser is necessary
when out in the excursion at the Jungle.
A fixed set lunch of continental or
semi-continental lunch is served at 1pm in the
main dining hut.
(If you are vegetarian or need Indian meals can
be arranged prior to your pre-booking or on
arrival) After lunch, at leisure for a few
hours. afternoon activities as per the Lodge set
programmed for different groups. Afternoon
Jungle program generally are elephant briefing &
bathing (depending upon the depth and size of
the river at different seasons) Nature or
Introductory walk. Elephant Safari, jungle walk
includes visit to the tower (Machan) visit and
Jungle drives.
After the afternoon jungle activities of 2-3
hours, refreshing hours at leisure, evening
program slide show on Royal Chitwan National
Park and it's history, flora and wildlife.
Cultural Tharu Stick Dance. Usually dinner is
served at 8 pm. The dinner will be buffet of
Nepali dishes or Chinese-Indian dishes.
04:Early, in the morning a knock at the door for
your early Jungle activities. The morning jungle
program will be according to group wise either
Bird watch tour, Elephant Safari or a Jungle
walk.
After the morning program of 1 1/2 to 2 hours
back to the lodge for breakfast in the main
dining hut, the tables are allocated according
to different groups and guest wise. A few hours
of leisure before the next program as above in
Day one till evening time.
05: Full day Jungle activities as above.
06: Early morning wake up call with a knock at
the door for different activities. After
breakfast, prepare to leave the lodge for the
drive back to Kathmandu. Approx. 190 km. 5-6
hours drive.
Bhote Kosi also
known as upper Sun Koshi,
Rapid Grade: 01 to 04 (in high flow season)
Rafting Duration: 1 to 2 days approx: 12 to 20

Put In Point: Depending upon the program (approx
2hrs drive from Ktm)
Take-Out: Kuringhat or 1/2/hr farther Kuringtar
(depending upon time of the season and its water
volume)
Introduction:
The torrent white water river of Bhote Koshi
flows from the mighty Himalayan range of Tibet
and Nepal, the source of this fast running river
starts from countless tributaries of the glacial
lakes and ponds of Dudh-kund and Shishapangma
HIMALAYA range at a stone throw distance from
the put in point of our Rafting.
Marsyangdi:
Rapid Grade: 01 to 05 (in high flow season)
Rafting Duration: 2-3 days approx: 12 to 20 km
Put In Point: Depending upon the program at
Bulbule or Nagdi
(approx 6-7 hrs drive from Kathmandu)
Take-Out: Near Bhote Odar or at Dumre(depending
upon time of the season
and its water volume)
Introduction:
The rafting involves a few days trek to reach
the put in point, at the foot-hills of the snow
capped giant of Mt.Manaslu, Annapurna II and
Lamjung, as the turbulent river churns and
bubbles below. The river section from our
starting point, gives us more than the double
exhilarating white water rapids with technical
rafting test of our ability and the team work as
we float on the exciting, raging river
Marsyangdi.
ARUN RIVER
Rapid Grade: 01 to 04 (in high flow season)
Rafting Duration: 2-3 days approx: 12 to 20 km
Put In Point: Depending upon the program at
Tumlingtar
(approx 50 mins flight or 14 hrs drive from
Kathmandu
With one day trek.
