Adventure Overland Tour to Tibet :

Day 01: KATHMANDU –ZHANGMU (2,300 m)-123 Kms.
Departure early morning from Kathmandu. Drive towards Kodari (Tibet/Nepal border) through scenic countryside. Breakfast at Dhulikhel. After completion of immigration formalities at Kodari/ Zhangmu, we check in at hotel in Zhangmu or continue drive to Neylam(3,600m) for one and half hour more through windy uphill road. Overnight in hotel/guest house.

Day 02: ZHANGMU-XEGAR (4, 350 m)-244Kms.
From Nylam, the drive passes through traditional Tibetan farm villages to Lalung-la Pass (5,050m) with outstanding view of Mt. Shisapangma (8013m highest within Tibet). Continue towards Xegar via; a town of old Tingri, where you can have a good view of Mt. Everest (8,848m) on a clear fine day. Overnight in hotel/guest house.

Day 03: XEGAR- SHIGATSE (3,900m)-150 kms.
Our journey today takes us to the highest pass on the tour at Gyatshola Pass, 5,220m. Further, the drive descends to Lhatse town situated on the route to Mt. Kailash and continue towards Shigatse; the second largest city in Tibet honored by famous Tashilumpo Monastery; the seat of Panchen Lama. Overnight in hotel.

Day 04: SHIGATSE-GYANTSE (3,950m) -90 Kms.
After visiting Tashilumpo Monastery and Shigatse bazaar, the drive continues to Gyantse; a small bustling town steeped in history. It lies 261 kms. to south-west of Lhasa, and later became the main centre for trade with British India We visit Khumbum Chorten, which was built around 1400 AD.. Overnight in hotel.

Day 05: GYANTSE-LHASA (3, 650m) - 261 kms.
Drive to Lhasa, crossing over Karo- La Pass (5,010m),Kamba- La Pass (4,795m) and Yamdrok Tsho-lake well known as turquoise lake. At leisure you will have time to immerse yourselves in the crowd of colourful people in Lhasa. Overnight in hotel.

Day 06: IN LHASA. SIGHTSEEING TOUR TO SERA MONASTERY, JORKHANG TEMPLE AND BHARKOR BAZAAR.
Tour to Sera Monastery, one of the most important and old monastery of Tibet as well a school for Tibetan Buddhism. Visit to Jorkhang Temple is another interesting place as it boasts a lot of historic importance and tales of old days. Conclude the day tour by visiting Bharkor Bazaar. Overnight in hotel.

Day 07: IN LHASA. SIGHTSEEING TOUR TO POTALA PALACE AND DREPUNG MONASTERY.
Tour to Potala Palace, originally built during 640 AD. The 13 storied palace stands 117.19m high with 1000 rooms. Visit to Drepung monastery, the largest of all monasteries in Tibet. Overnight in hotel.

Day 08: LHASA-KATHMANDU
After breakfast, early morning we drive for 2 hours to Gonggar Airport. An hour scenic flight back to Kathmandu over the majestic Himalayan range has the most spectacular view of Everest (8848m), Makalu (8462m) and some of its adjoining peaks. Upon arrival at Kathmandu airport our staff will transfer you to the Hotel.
